The Falling Apart Syndrome
"Falling apart syndrome" is obviously not a medical term, but it will have to suffice until a proper medical term is coined and accepted. The falling apart syndrome is an "umbrella" syndrome that covers most of the aches, pains, and annoyances of old age. It includes the frailty syndrome (http:⁄⁄en.wikipedia.org⁄wiki⁄Frailty_syndrome) and immunosenescence (en.wikipedia.org⁄wiki⁄Immunosenescence). Like frailty and immunosenescence, the falling apart syndrome is a fact of aging, not age. (I'll explain that cryptic sentence later).
